North Carolina High School Softball - Gray's Creek bounces Wakefield

May 9, 2025: Hope Mills, NC 28348

The Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) softball routed the visiting Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC), 10-3 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Bears now sport a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13. Gray's Creek will encounter a Rams team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Rams record now stands at 18-4.

With the loss, Wakefield moves to 21-4 on the season.
