Kenosha Bradford Red Devils (Kenosha, WI) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL), 2-0 in a non-league bout.

The Red Devils (18-1) will now prepare for their bout against Franklin (Franklin, WI). The Sabers go into the Southeast bout with a 11-4 record. In their last bout, Franklin tipped South Milwaukee (South Milwaukee, WI), 6-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) in a Kishwaukee River bout, on Monday, May 12. Richmond-Burton will attempt to advance on its 19-8 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 21-8 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL).
