New Mexico High School Softball - Valencia drops to Silver

Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), 14-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Silver improves its record to 23-4 on the year. The Fighting Colts travel to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sartans in a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. The Sartans enter the game with a record of 12-13. St. Pius X won 23-0 in their recent league game against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)
The Jaguars now hold a 9-15 record.
