Indiana High School Baseball - Loogootee wallops North Central

May 9, 2026: Loogootee, IN 47553

The Loogootee Lions baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting North Central Thunderbirds to 3 in the Lions non-league win on Saturday.

The Lions now own a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forest Park for a non-league test on Monday, May 11. Loogootee will clash with a Rangers team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Corydon Central (Corydon, IN). The Rangers record now stands at 8-11.

With the defeat, North Central drops to 6-7 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN) to clash with the Miners in a Southwestern Indiana test on Monday, May 11. The Miners go into the test with a record of 4-9. Linton-Stockton lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN)
