Michigan High School Baseball - Utica Ford wallops Mott

May 9, 2026: Sterling Heights, MI 48313

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Utica Ford Falcons baseball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Mott Corsairs.

The Falcons (16-10) will now prepare for their game against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Big Reds go into the Macomb Area - Red game with a 12-7 record. In their last game, Chippewa Valley was overwhelmed by Richmond (Richmond, MI), 2-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Corsairs play the Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI) in a Oakland - III game, on Monday, May 11. Mott will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a 7-8 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI).
