Ohio High School Baseball - Whitmer wallops Springfield

The Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH) baseball trounced the host Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH), 16-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Findlay for a Northern Lakes- Buckeye challenge on Monday, May 11. Whitmer will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 14-7.

With the defeat, Springfield drops to 6-13 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH) to clash with the Bobcats in a Northern Lakes- Cardinal challenge on Monday, May 11. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a record of 6-13. Bowling Green lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lexington (Lexington, OH)
