Indiana High School Baseball - Westville loses to Wheeler

May 9, 2026: Valparaiso, IN 46385

Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Westville Blackhawks (Westville, IN), 12-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Wheeler advances its record to 11-6 on the season. The Bearcats host River Forest (Hobart, IN) to battle the Ingots in a Greater Southshore match on Tuesday, May 12. The Ingots come into the match with a record of 10-5.

The Blackhawks now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marquette Catholic for a non-league match on Monday, May 11. Westville will battle a Blazers squad coming off a 15-7 non-league loss to Delphi Community (Delphi, IN). The Blazers record now stands at 3-8.
