Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Fowler Eagles (Fowler, MI), 6-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Oxford improves its record to 12-10 on the year. The Wildcats travel to DeWitt (DeWitt, MI) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, May 9. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 9-5.

The Eagles now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Patrick for a Central Michigan game on Monday, May 11. Fowler will play a Shamrocks squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Dansville (Dansville, MI). The Shamrocks record now stands at 2-5.
