The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ) and the visiting Rutgers Prep Argonauts (Somerset, NJ), observed Middlesex's softball team prevail over Rutgers Prep by a tally of 18-8.
The Bluejays (11-8) will now prepare for their bout against Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ). The Chiefs go into the non-league bout with a 8-10 record. In their last bout, Piscataway was routed by Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ), 21-4, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Argonauts clash with the Keansburg Titans (Keansburg, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 11. Rutgers Prep will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record.
