Cambridge Bobcats (Cambridge, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cambridge upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Washington (Washington Courthouse, OH) to battle the Blue Lions in a non-league test on Friday, June 2. The Blue Lions come into the test with a record of 26-1. Washington won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH)
With the defeat, New Philadelphia falls to 13-11 on the season.
