The Lunenburg Central Chargers routed the host Buffalo Gap Bison softball squad by a final score of 6-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Chargers (16-3) will now prepare for their battle against Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA). The Ponies go into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Chincoteague was routed by Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
The Bison now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Rappahannock for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 6. Buffalo Gap will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 23-0.
