The Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers nipped the host West Chicago Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (18-12) will now prepare for their battle against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Foxes go into the non-league battle with a 33-2 record. In their last battle, Yorkville held off Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now possess a 19-16 record.
