The Akron-Westfield Westerners baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley NIGHTHAWKS to 2 in the Westerners non-league victory on Saturday.
The Westerners (8-1) will now prepare for their match against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Hawks go into the War Eagle match with a 1-6 record.
The NIGHTHAWKS (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record.
