In Saturday's non-league game, the host Boone Toreadors baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Lincoln Railsplitters.
The Toreadors (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Carroll (Carroll, IA). The Tigers go into the Raccoon River game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Carroll was overwhelmed by Carlisle (Carlisle, IA), 9-3, in a league game.
The Railsplitters (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA). The Scarlets go into the Alliance Conference - South game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Des Moines East tipped Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA), 6-5, in a non-league game.
