The Atlantic Trojans routed the visiting Tri-Center Trojans softball squad by a final score of 12-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Trojans (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Creston (Creston, IA). The Panthers go into the Hawkeye 10 battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Creston was routed by Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 1. Tri-Center will confront a Lynx squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 0-9.
