Beckman Trailblazers (Dyersville, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Trailblazers now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vinton-Shellsburg for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 4.

With the loss, Crestwood falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Cadets host Charles City (Charles City, IA) to face the Comets in a Northeast Iowa challenge on Tuesday, June 4. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 8-1. Charles City won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Clarksville (Clarksville, IA)
