In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Storm Lake Tornadoes softball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs.
Coming up next, the Tornadoes battle the Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, June 4. Storm Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
The Monarchs (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA). The Mustangs enter the Hawkeye 10 outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Shenandoah ran past Red Oak (Red Oak, IA), 12-0, in a league outing.
