Earlham Cardinals (Earlham, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Van Meter for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 3. Earlham will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Perry (Perry, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Tri-Center falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA) to battle the Lynx in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 1. The Lynx enter the challenge with a record of 0-9. Lincoln lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
