The Comets (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Wildcats go into the Raccoon River battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Carlisle nudged Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA), 11-5, in a non-league battle.
The Savages now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lynnville-Sully for a South Iowa Cedar battle on Monday, June 3. Sigourney will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-7.
