The St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) baseball trounced the visiting Newton South Lions (Newton, MA), 6-0 in Sunday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wachusett Regional for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 4. St. John's Prep will clash with a Mountaineers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Attleboro (Attleboro, MA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 11-10.
With the defeat, Newton South drops to 14-7 on the year.
