In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Appomattox County Raiders baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Stuarts Draft Cougars.
The Raiders (22-1) will now prepare for their game against John Battle (Bristol, VA). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 14-5 record. In their last game, John Battle tipped Buckingham (Buckingham, VA), 4-3, in a non-league game.
