Iowa High School Softball - Carlisle bounces West Marshall

The Carlisle Wildcats routed the host West Marshall Trojans softball squad by a count of 9-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Boone (Boone, IA). The Toreadors go into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Boone nudged Urbandale (Urbandale, IA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans now sport a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a battle on Monday, June 12. West Marshall will meet a Bluejays squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 7-4.
