The Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI) softball routed the host Churchill Chargers (Livonia, MI), 9-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Norsemen (13-7) will now prepare for their bout against Hartland (Hartland, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 19-3 record. In their last bout, Hartland notched a victory over Mercy (Farmington Hills, MI), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 11-7 record.
