The Pleasant Valley Spartans routed the host Jefferson Hawks softball squad by a final score of 15-7 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Spartans (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Davenport Central (Davenport, IA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Davenport Central was routed by Anamosa (Anamosa, IA), 8-3, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Dubuque Senior for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 13. Jefferson will meet a Rams squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Rams record now stands at 9-5.
