Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Keota Eagles (Keota, IA), 20-4 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 12.

With the loss, Keota falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA) to face the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Wednesday, June 12. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 10-5. B-G-M won 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against West Branch (West Branch, IA)
