The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Hinton Blackhawks (Hinton, IA) and the visiting Lawton-Bronson Eagles (Lawton, IA), saw Hinton's baseball team gain a win over Lawton-Bronson by a tally of 10-0.
The Blackhawks (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Hawks enter the War Eagle battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was overwhelmed by Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA), 26-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Eagles face the West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) in a Western Valley battle, on Friday, June 13. Lawton-Bronson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
