Central Woodstock Falcons (Woodstock, VA) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA), 9-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Central Woodstock improves its record to 22-2 on the year. The Falcons travel to Central Wise (Norton, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, June 13. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 14-8. Central Wise won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Chatham (Chatham, VA)
The Chargers now hold a 17-3 record.
