Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME), 6-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Jonesport-Beals improves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Royals travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to play the Howlers in a non-league game on Thursday, June 12. The Howlers enter the game with a record of 14-0. Penobscot Valley won 17-3 in their recent league game against Woodland (Baileyville, ME)
The Wolverines now hold a 8-7 record.
