With the win, Edison Academy upgrades its record to 18-12 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Pewamo-Westphalia (Pewamo, MI) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, June 17. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 6-5. Pewamo-Westphalia won 12-8 in their recent non-league test against Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI)

With the defeat, Algonac falls to 14-7 on the season.
