In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Rudyard Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals.
The Bulldogs (26-6) will now prepare for their game against Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league game with a 21-15 record. In their last game, Gabriel Richard tipped Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI), 10-0, in a non-league game.
