In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Algona Bulldogs baseball team scored a nice 16-1 victory over the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals.
The Bulldogs (15-4) will now prepare for their game against Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Lynx go into the North Central game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Webster City overcame Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA), 11-0, in a league game.
The Cardinals (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Forest City (Forest City, IA). The Indians go into the Top of Iowa - West game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Forest City overcame Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA), 11-10, in a non-league game.
