In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA), by a tally of 17-3.
Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the New London Tigers (New London, IA) in a SE IA Super - South bout, on Thursday, June 12. Mediapolis will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 6-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Central Lee (Donnellson, IA).
The Chiefs (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against Fairfield (Fairfield, IA). The Trojans enter the Southeast bout with a 9-4 record. In their last bout, Fairfield overcame Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA), 5-3, in a non-league bout.
