The Kingsley-Pierson Panthers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting West Monona Spartans to 1 in the Panthers league win on Wednesday.
The Panthers now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union for a non-league test on Thursday, June 12. Kingsley-Pierson will play a Royals team coming off a 15-2 league win over George-Little Rock (George, IA). The Royals record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, West Monona drops to 2-8 on the year. The Spartans host Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA) to play the Eagles in a Western Valley test on Friday, June 13. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-8. Lawton-Bronson lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Hinton (Hinton, IA)
