In Wednesday's league test, the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA), by a tally of 11-0.

Next, the Warhawks meet the Iowa Valley Tigers (Marengo, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar test, on Friday, June 13. North Mahaska will attempt to advance on its 11-2 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 3-6 record after their 4-3 league win over Montezuma (Montezuma, IA).

The Plainsmen (0-15) will now prepare for their test against Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA). The Ravens go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Hillcrest Academy was routed by Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA), 15-4, in a league test.
