The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) softball routed the visiting South Hardin Tigers (Eldora, IA), 9-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Denver for a North Iowa Cedar - Central outing on Thursday, June 12. Dike-New Hartford will encounter a Cyclones team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, South Hardin moves to 2-10 on the season. The Tigers host Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league outing on Saturday, June 14. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 8-5. Sumner-Fredericksburg won 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against AGWSR (Ackley, IA)
