In Wednesday's non-league test, the Earlham Cardinals (Earlham, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA), by a tally of 8-0.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Ogden Bulldogs (Ogden, IA) in a West Central test, on Thursday, June 12. Earlham will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 7-5 record after their 15-4 league win over Panorama (Panora, IA).
The Wolverines (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Blue Devils go into the Pride of Iowa test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Martensdale-St. Mary's was routed by Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA), 4-3, in a league test.
