The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) and the host English Valleys Bears (North English, IA), observed Keota's softball team prevail over English Valleys by a tally of 9-0.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears go into the South Iowa Cedar bout with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, B-G-M knocked off West Branch (West Branch, IA), 6-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Friday, June 13. English Valleys will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to Pella Christian (Pella, IA).
