Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Raceland Rams (Raceland, KY), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Whitley County upgrades its record to 26-6 on the season. The Colonels travel to Lyon County (Eddyville, KY) to battle the Lyons in a non-league test on Wednesday, June 16. The Lyons come into the test with a record of 10-6. Lyon County won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY)

With the defeat, Raceland falls to 21-7 on the season.
