The Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Monticello Panthers to 1 in the Stormin' Pointers non-league victory on Monday.
The Stormin' Pointers (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Wahlert (Dubuque, IA). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Wahlert ran past Independence (Independence, IA), 12-8, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Camanche (Camanche, IA). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 1-10 record. In their last match, Camanche was overwhelmed by Davenport West (Davenport, IA), 12-8, in a non-league match.
