The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host Waterloo West Wahawks to 2 in the Mustangs non-league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pella Christian for a non-league test on Friday, June 13. Dallas Center-Grimes will play a Eagles team coming off a 16-5 non-league loss to Indianola (Indianola, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-13.

With the defeat, Waterloo West drops to 2-18 on the year. The Wahawks travel to Humboldt (Humboldt, IA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, June 12. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 13-4. Humboldt won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Forest City (Forest City, IA)
