The MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Hinton Blackhawks to 5 in the Dutchmen non-league win on Thursday.

The Dutchmen now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sibley-Ocheyedan for a Siouxland battle on Friday, June 13. MOC-Floyd Valley will confront a Generals team coming off a 6-5 league win over Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Generals record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Hinton moves to 10-3 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Le Mars (Le Mars, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, June 13. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 10-4. Le Mars won 8-5 in their recent league battle against Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA)
