Iowa High School Softball - South Winneshiek sneaks past Nashua-Plainfield

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting South Winneshiek Warriors softball team scored a tight 6-5 win over the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies.
The Warriors (7-9) will now prepare for their match against Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA). The Stormin' Pointers come into the non-league match with a 7-8 record.
In their next game, the Huskies battle the West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) in a Top of Iowa-East match, on Friday, June 13. Nashua-Plainfield will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Warhawks come into the match with a 8-1 record after their 16-0 league win over North Butler (Greene, IA).
