In Thursday's non-league match, the host Woodbury Central Wildcats softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the West Sioux Falcons.

The Wildcats (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Ridge View (Holstein, IA). The Raptors come into the Western Valley match with a 4-4 record.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Trinity Christian Tigers (Hull, IA) in a War Eagle contest, on Friday, June 13. West Sioux will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 19-9 non-league win over Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA).
