Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ) and the host Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ), saw Howell's baseball squad edge Cherokee by a count of 2-1.
Coming up next, the Rebels play the Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, June 18. Howell will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 8-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Livingston (Livingston, NJ).
The Chiefs now possess a 17-6 record.
