The Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Rockford Warriors to 9 in the non-league victory on Tuesday.
The (3-9) will now prepare for their match against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Lake Mills tipped Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA), 12-2, in a non-league match.
The Warriors (1-9) will now prepare for their match against West Fork (Sheffield, IA). The Warhawks go into the non-league match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, West Fork was edged by Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA), 17-0, in a non-league match.
