The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines crushed the visiting Clear Lake Lions baseball team by a count of 14-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Wolverines now possess a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Grundy Center for a non-league bout on Wednesday, June 14. Dike-New Hartford will face a Spartans team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Oelwein (Oelwein, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-0.
Next, the Lions face the Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, June 16. Clear Lake will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 5-18 record after their 5-4 league loss to Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA).
