Iowa High School Softball - Central City bounces Belle Plaine

The Central City Wildcats routed the host Belle Plaine Plainsmen softball squad by a count of 19-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Marquette (Bellevue, IA). The Mohawks go into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Marquette was routed by Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA), 7-3, in a non-league battle.
The Plainsmen now sport a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Highland-Lone Tree for a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 14. Belle Plaine will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-3.
