The Osage Green Devils got by the visiting South Winneshiek Warriors softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Green Devils (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Saints go into the Top of Iowa-East battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, St. Ansgar was edged by Algona (Algona, IA), 13-3, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to North Fayette Valley for a Upper Iowa battle on Monday, June 17.
