The Wilton Beavers the host Alburnett Pirates baseball squad by a score of 4-2 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Beavers battle the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, June 16. Wilton will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Golden Hawks come into the outing with a 9-6 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA).
The Pirates (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars come into the Tri-Rivers - West outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Starmont tipped Oelwein (Oelwein, IA), 8-3, in a non-league outing.
