The Ballard Bombers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host West Delaware Hawks to 0 in the Bombers non-league win on Friday.
The Bombers now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they host A-D-M for a Raccoon River test on Monday, June 16. Ballard will play a Tigers team coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Glenwood (Glenwood, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-11.
With the defeat, West Delaware drops to 9-7 on the year. The Hawks host Independence (Independence, IA) to play the Mustangs in a WaMaC-East test on Monday, June 16. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 10-9. Independence won 17-6 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA)
